SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active–Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) is a Government of India initiative designed to achieve the three cardinal principles of education policy: access, equity, and quality. It offers Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) that are available free of cost to learners across the country.
To pass in a SWAYAM Course, a minimum of 40% passing marks(i.e., minimum 12/30 marks in Assignment/Quizzes & 28/70 Marks in the end term examination) is required. The end term SWAYAM Examination will be conducted in the Universities (only for eligible students).
The Examination cell shall conduct the end semester examination of the SWAYAM courses along with the regular end semester examinations. The internal assessment shall only be carried out by SWAYAM unless permitted otherwise by the SWAYAM Course Coordinator.
Certification (NTA): Learners can obtain certificates by successfully completing assessments and examinations (with a nominal fee).
Our institution actively encourages faculty and students to participate in SWAYAM courses to enhance academic and professional growth. Students are motivated to enroll in MOOCs and transfer eligible credits as per UGC guidelines.
Students and faculty may reach out for course registration support, credit transfer guidance, and general assistance regarding SWAYAM MOOCs.
