The National Service Scheme (NSS) at Bahra University is a voluntary student organization that encourages young minds to participate in community service and social development. Aligned with the national NSS mission, our unit provides students with a structured platform to contribute meaningfully to society, develop leadership skills, and foster a spirit of civic responsibility.

NSS Special Camps

SPECIAL CAMPS

In addition to these regular initiatives, NSS volunteers take part in Special Camps that are organized in rural and underdeveloped areas. These camps involve extensive community service activities such as:

  • Community Development Programs
  • Health Camps
  • Tree Plantation Drives
  • Swachh Rayat Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission) activities
  • Support for Government Welfare Schemes

These camps provide students with the opportunity to interact directly with the local community, offering practical solutions to societal challenges while also allowing them to gain valuable hands-on experience in leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving.

To further enhance the NSS experience at Rayat Bahra University, various NSS Program Officers and experts from different sectors regularly visit the university to conduct workshops, seminars, and motivational sessions. These visits offer students the chance to learn from experienced professionals and develop a deeper understanding of social work and its significance in nation-building.
